The file /etc/awstats/ was magickly created by the installation Nano /etc/httpd/conf.d/nf (see detail below) I've tryed to reconfigure everything from scratch, and I can still reproduce the bug, here is a full list of what I've done. What do you exactly means by ``configuration''?
